following two page are made with the
BibleDatabase HTMLCompiler tool.
You may download them from here or use the tool to make your own.
HTML Bibles
Each complete Bible extracts to around 1190 HTML files with an "index.htm"
file forming a common index and linking all the files together. Once
extracted, you can browse the files on your Computer just as you would
if they were on the Internet.
Use the HTML Bibles on your
Website if you have one or download BibleDatabase together with HTMLCompiler
to create your own customized HTML Bibles.
COMPILED ".CHM"
Bibles
Each complete Bible is a single ".CHM" files and
complies to the Compiled HTML format used by Windows Help files.
Use CHM Bibles on your PC If you discover an
error in any of the downloads or a broken link, please contact
us.
All BibleDatabase
Modules will eventually be available as HTML and ".CHM" Modules.

There
are two types of Bibles for you to download. Please read below to make sure you download the
correct one for your application. |

COMPILED ".CHM" Bibles |

Each
Bible is a self extracting EXE file.
-
Each
complete Bible extracts to approximately 1200 separate
HTML files.

You can
upload them to your Website.
-
DO NOT
extract the files to your Desktop or your C:\ root
folder. To extract the HTML files, double click on the
EXE module (once downloaded) and browse for an empty
folder (or make one using Windows Explorer) on your PC
and extract the files there.
- Once extracted, double
click on any of the files to open in your Web Browser.
- Make a folder on your
Website e.g. /kjv/ and upload all the files to it - don't
forget to upload the default.css file!
- Link from one of your
other pages to the index.htm file.
ZIPPED HTML Bibles

Each
Bible is a single file with the extension of
".CHM" (Compiled HTML Module) e.g. "kjv.chm".

CHM
files are standard Windows Files and most PC's from
Windows 95 and upwards can open them.

You can
download multiple Bibles and save them to your desktop
if you wish.

If you
are using BibleDatabase, install to the suggested folder
and BibleDatabase will manage the files for you.

CHM
files are searchable. You can search for words and/or
phrases on a Bible-wide basis with results displayed on
a Chapter-wide basis.
